All welcome at Service of Remembrance

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday 13 November in Lowestoft and everyone is welcome to attend.

Members of the Royal British Legion Lowestoft and District Branch, representatives from Waveney District Council and other local organisations will be present at the service which will take place at the War Memorial at Royal Plain at 10.45am.

The service, which will last approximately thirty minutes, will commence shortly after the observance of the two minutes silence.

An official parade including the TA, cadet forces and other uniformed units will form up at the Claremont Pier at 10.15am, with the parade beginning at 10.40am proceeding down the Seafront to Royal Plain. 

Services will also be taking place across Waveney:

Saturday 12 November

Sotterley - Sotterley Chapel - 10.50am

Sunday 13 November

Ringsfield - All Saints Church, Ringsfield - 10am

Blundeston - St Mary the Virgin Church, Blundeston - 10.30am

Rumburgh - St Michael & St Felix Church, Rumburgh - 10.45am

Shadingfield - St John the Baptist Church, Shadingfield - 10.50am

Barnby - War Memorial, Barnby - 12.15pm

Beccles - War Memorial, St Mary's Rd, Beccles - 2pm

Bungay - St Mary's Church, Bungay - 3pm

Halesworth - St Mary's Church - 3pm. A procession will begin in the Thoroughfare at around 2.30pm.
