Felixstowe Unwrapped…

This Christmas, the seaside town of Felixstowe provides the perfect festive shopping destination in Suffolk, with late night opening, special seasonal activities, live street entertainment and free car parking.

A group of key town centre retailers, including Adnams Felixstowe, Coastal Crafts, the East of England Co-op, Gorgeous Jewels, Hills Jewellers, M&S, Nick Barber Auctions, Pierrot, Ruby & Scarlet and The Salon, together with Felixstowe Forward, have joined forces to develop a sparkling all-new Christmas Shopping Campaign.

On Fridays 2, 9, 16 and 23 December, a host of retailers around the Hamilton and Orwell Road area will remain open until 1900. On these evenings there will also be free car parking in the town centre car parks (Crescent, Highfield and Ranelagh) from 1500 onwards.

Whether you’re looking for a bargain, designer goods, locally produced foodie treats or that extra-special gift... Felixstowe has it all. Bring your family and friends for special themed activities, demonstrations and events which are planned for each evening, such as fashion, jewellery, food and drink and gift wrapping - plus you can check out our giant real Christmas tree at the Triangle, glittering lights and festive shop window displays too.

The Visit Felixstowe website - together with the VF Facebook and Twitter pages will be providing full details on the Christmas Shopping Campaign over the coming weeks.

Mark Barham from Pierrot Stationers said:

“Working in partnership with Felixstowe Forward and other key town centre retailers we are creating the perfect festive treat for shoppers in the town centre.

We would like to encourage everyone to take advantage of the free car parking after 3pm on the four Fridays throughout December. With its abundance of boutiques, independent shops and high street brands, Felixstowe is definitely the place to shop this Christmas”.
