Visitors to Lowestoft on Wednesday 21 December can enjoy late night shopping, free parking from 3pm in the town's two multi-storey car parks - and fireworks!
Ideal for purchasing those last minute Christmas gifts, shops throughout the town will be open until 8pm with many taking part in a fun and festive fancy dress competition which will be judged by Lowestoft Deputy Mayor Cllr Mary Rudd.
From 4.30pm, there will be a chance to meet Elsa and Olaf from Disney’s Frozen at the town's Christmas tree. Funfair rides will be open throughout the evening and there will be a chance to win £250 with the Heart Whirlwind located in the Britten Centre.
The event will conclude with a musical fireworks display at 7.30pm, with the best viewing area between Greenwoods and Timpson’s (facing east).
Free parking is available from 3pm in the Britten Centre and Battery Green multi-story car parks.
Darren Newman, Lowestoft Vision BID Manager, said:
"Following feedback and working with local businesses, we decided against weekly late night shopping, opting instead for a one off event the week before Christmas. We are really looking forward to it and finishing our late night programme with a fireworks display for the town."
