ScottishPower Renewables (SPR) is currently building the 102 turbine East Anglia ONE offshore windfarm off the coast of Suffolk - this will be followed by the East Anglia THREE offshore windfarm which recently received development consent.

Building on these first two projects within the East Anglian portfolio, SPR is now seeking to progress development of the East Anglia TWO and East Anglia ONE North offshore windfarms.

To find out more about these projects, SPR is holding four Public Information Days to gauge opinion ahead of the formal consultation, where members of the project team will be available between 12pm and 7pm to answer questions you may have about the two new projects:

  • 30 October - St Edmund's Hall, Southwold
  • 31 October - Leiston United Church, Leiston
  • 1 November - Victoria Hotel, Lowestoft
  • 2 November - Orford Town Hall, Orford

The East Anglia TWO project is located 31km from Lowestoft and could generate up to 800 megawatts. East Anglia ONE North is located 36km from Lowestoft and also has a potential capacity of 800 megawatts.
