Woodbridge Skatepark unaffected by Leisure Centre work

Work will start this week to remove an unused disabled access ramp at Deben Leisure Centre as part of the redevelopment works for the new leisure facility.

The work carried out by our development partner, Pulse, won’t affect access to Woodbridge Skatepark.

The ramp next to the skatepark is no longer needed and a new one will be installed to provide access to the thermal suite facility in the leisure centre.

Scaffolding will go up this week in preparation for the ramp’s removal in February. This will prevent access to one of the car park’s ticket machines and there may be some noise disruption during this time.

We apologise for any inconvenience during this time. For further questions, please contact our leisure team on leisure@eastsuffolk.gov.uk
