Older people living in and around Lowestoft are invited to find out more about the broad range of support services, clubs and activities available to them in the local area.
The Lowestoft Ageing Well Fair takes place at the Lowestoft Community Church on Tuesday 11 September. Organised by Lowestoft Rising in partnership with Suffolk County Council and Waveney District Council, the drop-in event offers Lowestoft residents aged 50+ the chance to meet local groups and organisations who provide a range of support, information and activities.

“This free event is open to all and especially our older residents. Attendees can find out more about the wide range of support and activities which are available to them locally and we look forward to seeing lots of people there.”
Residents are welcome to drop in to the Lowestoft Community Church, 8 Hadenham Road, Lowestoft, NR33 7NF anytime between 2pm and 6.30pm.
Free refreshments will be available, along with free NHS health checks with OneLife Suffolk and benefits and pensions advice from JobCentre Plus. Free transport is also available, provided by BACT Community Transport.
