Residents in Beccles and the surrounding area are invited to a free community day next month.

The Rigbourne Hill Community Day will take place on Saturday 3 August at Beccles Free School on Castle Hill.

Running between 11am and 3pm, there will be free activities including a climbing wall, inflatable football pitch, skateboarding, circus skills and arts and crafts activities. Information will also be available on local services, as well as a raffle and live music. Refreshments, including a barbecue, will be on sale.

Cllr Letitia Smith, East Suffolk’s Cabinet Member for Communities, Leisure and Tourism said:

“This free community celebration is open to all and with the support of our partners, we are able to offer a range of activities for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to seeing you there!”

The event is organised by the East Suffolk Communities Team in partnership with Beccles Free School, Beccles Town Council, Moore Music Roadshow, Beccles and District Lions Club, Sentinel Leisure Trust and the Beccles Parish churches.

Businesses and organisations wishing to book a stall at the event are asked to contact Stuart Halsey on 01502 523354 or email stuart.halsey@eastsuffolk.gov.uk
