Annual Status Report 2018 – annual air quality report for East Suffolk Council
During November 2018 to January 2019, we undertook a Public Consultation asking for views and comments on the Annual Status Report 2018 for East Suffolk Council. This document provides an annual summary of the district’s air quality for 2017/18 and includes updates on our Air Quality Management Areas (AQMAs).
The Consultation ran for 11 weeks and ended on 18th January 2019.
The Council received a total of 22 responses relevant to the Consultation which are summarised in the document below. Each of responses in full can also be viewed in the same document.
7 responses requested increased air quality monitoring, 4 responses were specific to domestic burning, 4 responses related to road traffic & road layout, 4 responses were specific to idling vehicles, and 3 referred to emissions from railways.
