The Sutton Heath site is enjoyed by families, horse riders, dog walkers, birdwatchers and conservationists. Maintaining the site to Natural England’s designated specification helps keep the heathland site recognised as an internationally important Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The site management plan is the tool that helps us understand the sites qualities and formally record the sites management objectives.
Sutton Heath is a well used site for recreation and conservation and balancing the management plan to meet the needs of all users is an important part of the newly developed management plan.
