Those interested in speaking at East Suffolk Council’s Planning Committee meetings are invited to register their request in good time ahead of future meetings.
Anyone wishing to speak at a future Planning Committee meeting is asked to register in advance, no later than 5pm on the day before the meeting is scheduled to take place.
Planning Committee meetings usually cover large or complex planning proposals where they can be discussed and considered in full. These meetings also give members of the public the opportunity to raise their own issues about particular proposals.
In order to ensure meetings are conducted in a fair manner, giving all interested parties an opportunity to have their say, interested parties are asked to register in advance and will be given three minutes to speak.
If you have registered to speak, please ensure you arrive at the meeting prior to its start time (2pm for Planning Committees North and South, 10:30am for Strategic Planning Committee) and make yourself known to the Committee Clerk. The agenda may be re-ordered by the Chairman to bring forward items with public speaking and the item you have registered to speak on could be heard earlier than planned.
