Members of the local community will have the opportunity to learn more about future redevelopment proposals at the Cefas site in Lowestoft, through two public consultation events.
The Centre for the Environment, Fisheries & Aquaculture Science (Cefas) will be holding two events at its Lowestoft laboratory, Pakefield Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 0HT:
The purpose of the first meeting is to share expected future redevelopment proposals for the Pakefield Road site and to provide an opportunity for members of the public and stakeholders to contribute to these proposals, which will be on display throughout the day.
There will also be an opportunity to learn about the existing facilities and work. Presentations will take place at 14:30, 16:30 and 18:30 and it is recommended to arrive prior to these start times.
There will be an opportunity at the end of the presentations to give feedback, and ask questions to the architects and members of the project team. All contributions will be considered within the next stage of the design process. No final decision on the redevelopment proposal will be made until Autumn 2017.
