Local people are being invited along to a special event to celebrate the beauty of the Deben Peninsula.

The DCCT are holding a celebration and working together event on Friday, 23rd February, 10.30-2pm, at the Suffolk Punch Trust, Woodbridge Walk, Hollesley, Suffolk IP12 3JR. (light bite lunch provided).

Join us to hear about local projects, an opportunity to network with partners and find out more about how you can support the Deben Peninsula Coastal Community Team (DPCCT).

Suffolk Coastal’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member with responsibility for Economic Development, Cllr Geoff Holdcroft said:

“Coastal Community Teams allow local people and organisations to work together and focus on the specific challenges faced in their area. East Suffolk has some of the country’s most beautiful coastline and the work of our CCTs will help our coastal towns to thrive,"

The Deben Peninsula is a beautiful tranquil place, attractive to visitors and home to a wide range of small businesses, many of which are tourism based.

The Deben Peninsula CCT is working with these businesses and the community to identify, develop and implement initiatives that allow communities, businesses and local employment to thrive while remaining true to the special environment in which we live.
