The award-winning Felixstowe Museum, located on the Landguard Peninsula, is looking for new volunteers.
The museum is a real 'hidden' treasure - where adults and children alike can discover all sorts of amazing stuff in fourteen different display areas, from costumes and model planes, to fossils and toys. There are also special events, learning activities and new themed exhibitions each season.
Earlier this year, the Museum was named the ‘Best Small Visitor Attraction’ at the EADT (East Anglian Daily Times) EDP (Eastern Daily Press) Norfolk and Suffolk Tourism Awards 2018.
There are a wide variety of volunteering opportunities on offer, from welcoming and talking to visitors, helping out at fun events, to administrative tasks and archiving. Learn new skills (or share your own), make new friends, gain a new hobby or maybe get some work experience.
A special Volunteer Open Event will be held at the Museum on Saturday 14 July from 1000-1200. Why not pop down and learn more? All welcome!
