Felixstowe Museum has won ‘Best Small Visitor Attraction’ at the EADT EDP Norfolk and Suffolk Tourism Awards 2018
Plans to give more people the unique Suffolk Coastal ‘beach hut experience’ have taken a step forward, with the potential sites for 23 new beach huts being identified in Felixstowe.
Felixstowe is working to become the first dementia friendly town in Suffolk Coastal to help make lives easier and support more accessible to people affected by dementia.
Felixstowe Town Council and St John’s Church are arranging a Concert of Memories to commemorate the 1953 North Sea Floods, which claimed 41 lives locally and over 300 people in English coastal towns and villages. The service will be held at the Church on Orwell Road, Felixstowe, on Saturday 27 January 2018 from 6-7pm. All are welcome to attend.
Felixstowe councillors are working together to support young people who are members of Felixstowe’s RAF Air Cadet unit.
