Think before you call; think before you visit

We would like all our customers to know that the Marina Customer Services Centre in Lowestoft and our information points at Beccles, Felixstowe and Woodbridge libraries remain open to deal with face-to-face enquiries. You can also call us on 03330 162 000.

However, please do bear in mind that face-to-face contact should be limited and many of our services – with information about what we do – can be found here on our website. There are a range of things you can do online, such as reporting fly-tipping, renewing garden waste & reporting missed bin collections, as well as making payments: https://my.eastsuffolk.gov.uk/Home

It will come as no surprise to you that our Customer Services department is also currently receiving higher call volumes than usual and calls increase at this time of year anyway due to Council Tax billing. We are answering calls as quickly as possible but please avoid making non-urgent calls if you can.

You can email us at customerservices@eastsuffolk.gov.uk and we ordinarily aim to respond within five working days. However, given the increase in self-distancing and self-isolation we expect more people to contact us by email and we would, again, ask customers to be patient and to consider whether the information or service you require can be found here on our website.

Thank you for your understanding.
