My East Suffolk is dedicated to making it easier for you to interact with your council.
Lots of people contact Suffolk Coastal District Council or Waveney District Council every day. For many things our customers have to fill in a form to request a service or to tell us about something important. If you register with My East Suffolk your name and contact details will be stored in your account profile. When you come back to our website and want to fill in another form for any other service, then part of the form will already be completed from the information stored in your account profile, saving you time.
All the services that can be accessed using one of our forms are indexed on My East Suffolk making it easier for them to be found.
Each time you use one of the forms, a record of the request will be stored on your account and you will be able to review your requests when you login to your account.
We are launching the service on 1 January 2017 with online subscriptions to the Waveney Easy Green Bin garden waste scheme. There are around 20 other forms and services that can be accessed directly through My East Suffolk currently but we will expand the number of services accessed this way over the coming months.
To register for a My East Suffolk account, you only need to provide:
We will ask you for other information about yourself which is helpful to us, especially in confirming your identity as genuine, but it is not essential.
For some services yes, but there are many you can still use without having a My East Suffolk account.
You do need to register to renew your subscription to the Easy Green Bin Scheme.
