The East Suffolk Cost of Living Community Grant Fund has been set up with funding from the Suffolk Collaborative Communities Board (via the Suffolk Contain Outbreak Management Fund or COMF) to enable voluntary organisations and community groups to support individuals and families who are struggling due to the current cost of living crisis. Grants are for activities delivered by community, voluntary and social enterprise organisations or Town/Parish Councils.
The purpose of the grant is to keep people warm, well-fed, safe and connected, with a particular focus on a reduction of incidents of respiratory conditions this Winter. Below are just a few examples (the list is not exhaustive) of the type of projects we could support:
Projects should complement and not duplicate any projects funded through the East Suffolk Ease the Squeeze programme.
The fund will provide grants of between £500 and £5,000 for projects which support local residents struggling due to the rising cost of living.
Please read the Guidance Notes and complete the application form carefully before submitting your application – we expect there to be a lot of interest in this programme so please provide as much information as possible in your application to enable the Panel to understand your project and what it will deliver.
