This new East Suffolk Council grant scheme is part of our Covid Recovery Plan which includes a range of projects identified through our work with clinically vulnerable people over the last 15 months. During the lockdown phases of the Covid-19 pandemic, it was clear that there were specific groups who were particularly impacted, including those with disabilities, dementia and visual and/or hearing impairments and their carers.
Boost offers grants between £250 and £5,000, from a total pot of £180,000, to voluntary, community and social enterprise groups (VCSE) and Town/Parish Council who are seeking to deliver added value projects to tackle specific needs in East Suffolk.
The four priorities that this grant scheme targets are;
Round one is now closed, but Round two is open and closes on Thursday 6th January 2022. A panel meeting will take place w/c 24th January 2022 and groups will be notified about the outcome of their applications after panel meeting.
