Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs) are a legal means of controlling activities that cause concern in communities. They were introduced by the Antisocial Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 and allow for the service of fixed penalties when breached.
They are reviewed every three years to ensure that they are effective and necessary in what they set out to control.
In East Suffolk there are 21 dog control PSPO’s, six of these are due for review in June 2025. We are looking for comments on these orders as part of this review.

In addition to the above, we are proposing to consolidate all the remaining PSPOs so that they run concurrently. They will be renewed in June 2025 and all expire in June 2028.
