£150 Energy Rebate
To help with some of the impact of rising energy costs, the Government announced that a £150 Council Tax rebate grant will be paid to eligible households in England from April 2022.
If your home is in Council Tax bands A to D, you are likely to receive this rebate - payments are already being made to East Suffolk residents who pay their Council Tax by Direct Debit.
Payments may take longer if the Direct Debit payee information is different to the name/s we hold on record for your address.
If you do not pay your Council Tax by Direct Debit and would like us to pay your £150 rebate into your bank, you can complete an application form to provide us with your bank details.
We will also be writing to you to explain how to claim your rebate and have it paid directly into your bank account.
