Local elections

Information on the local elections - 6 May

Local elections are taking place on Thursday 6 May, including Suffolk County Council, Suffolk's Police and Crime Commissioner, East Suffolk Council by-elections for the Beccles/Worlingham and Framlingham wards, Town and Parish Council by-elections and in some areas, Neighbourhood Planning Referenda.

Suffolk County Council elections
The count for the Suffolk County Council election will begin on Friday 7 May. Results from the Suffolk County Council elections will be announced live via Twitter and will also be available here.

Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioner elections
The count for the Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioner election will begin on Saturday 8 May. Results will be available here.

East Suffolk by-elections
The count for the East Suffolk by-elections begins on Monday 10 May. Results will be announced via Twitter and will also be available here.

Town/parish council by-elections
The count for town and parish council by-elections begins on Monday 10 May and results will be available here.
