It introduces important changes to the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960. The changes directly affect the way the council licenses permanent residential sites (known as relevant protected sites).

Annual Reports are published to the Strategic Planning Committee, in June/July each year, containing various statistics in relation to applications and enforcement cases dealt with by East Suffolk Council as Local Planning Authority.
