Route D2 and B1122 study
EDF Energy has identified the B1122 as the main access route to deliver the Sizewell C development. This route will need to accommodate HGV vehicles for the delivery of materials, coach traffic for transporting workers to the site, abnormal loads and car trips by individual workers/visitors. Following the Stage 1 consultation by EDF Energy, concerns were raised around the lack of information provided for transport related mitigation for the B1122.

Five Estuaries is the proposed extension to the existing £1.5 billion, 353MW Galloper Offshore Wind Farm located in the southern North Sea. The Five Estuaries project will comprise a number of wind turbines in addition to offshore and onshore electrical infrastructure. A grid connection for this project is due to link into the proposed East Anglia Green substation within the Tendring District, Essex.

Private Water Supplies Regulations 2016 & 2018 (Amendment) Regulations
New regulations relating to drinking water supplied from wells, boreholes and other private water supplies, came into force on 27 June 2016. These were amended by a subsequent amendment Regulation known as the Private Water Supplies (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and these came into force on 11 July 2018.
