Residents in East Suffolk have had their say on how periods impact those who experience them as part of East Suffolk Council’s ongoing work to fight period poverty.

In response to the Written Ministerial Statement of the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities dated 19 December 2023, in which all local authorities were asked to make sure they have an up to date plan timetable in place, an update to the Local Development Scheme has been prepared. This document sets out the Council’s current position on plan-making, an indicative timescale for a future Local Plan and information on the preparation of other planning policy documents.
