The creation of a new trading company in East Suffolk – delivering crucial services such as waste and recycling collection, grounds maintenance and street cleansing – has moved a step closer with the appointment of its first Managing Director and confirmation of the organisation’s trading name.

The tidal flood walls are part of the Lowestoft Flood Risk Management Project, which when completed will protect 1,500 homes and 800 businesses. Construction on the tidal flood walls is due to begin in the spring.
A new three-year grant programme has been launched to help support East Suffolk’s high streets through town centre improvements, arts and cultural activities and improvements to shopfronts.
