Housing Leadership Team

I lead the housing service, making sure tenants and residents receive safe, high-quality services that meet their needs. I work with local partners and community representatives to improve housing services, prevent homelessness, increase affordable housing opportunities, and support people across East Suffolk to access and maintain a suitable home.

I work with the Housing Leadership Team to improve the services we provide to tenants. My role is to help make sure homes are safe, services are reliable, and changes we make improve the experience of our tenants now and in the future.

I oversee investment in council homes, including improvements such as new kitchens and adaptations to help people live independently. I also make sure we understand the condition of our homes and plan future improvements to keep them safe, comfortable and well maintained.

I help make sure our housing services are safe, well run and meet the standards tenants should expect. I use feedback from residents, monitor our performance, and oversee building safety to help improve services and ensure tenants' voices are heard.

I lead the team helping tenants to manage and maintain their tenancies successfully. This includes providing support with rent payments, financial wellbeing, anti-social behaviour issues, tenancy administration, and services for residents living in our retired living schemes.

I manage the delivery of the Repairs and Maintenance service.  We have a team of operatives who carry out day-to-day repairs, prepare empty properties for new tenants, deliver home improvement works, and respond quickly to issues that affect the safety and wellbeing of residents.

I lead programmes that improve the comfort, energy efficiency and sustainability of council homes. My team delivers works such as insulation, new windows and doors, solar panels, heating upgrades and ventilation improvements to help make homes warmer and cheaper to run.

I lead services that support people living in privately rented homes and owner-occupied properties. My team helps improve housing conditions, supports disabled residents with home adaptations, manages traveller site services, and delivers programmes that help people live safely, independently and comfortably in their homes.

I am also responsible for delivering Suffolk Wide programmes, including Stepping Home; Suffolk Healthy Homes; Warm Homes Healthy People and the Safe Suffolk Renters Programmes.

I lead services that help people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or in need of housing support. My team manages the housing register, temporary accommodation and support services, helping people access housing as fairly as possible and providing support when it is needed most.
