The hugely successful ‘Little Fort of Horrors’ is returning to the Landguard Peninsula at Felixstowe this year – and organisers are on the hunt for scarers!
Applicants are invited to join the host of ghosts reputed to hang out at one of Britain’s most haunted spots.
No acting experience is needed, but scarers must be over 18, up for getting in costume and be available on the nights of Friday 28 and Saturday 29 October, from 6.30pm to 11.30pm.
The Little Fort of Horrors was first held in 2013 and is one of the Landguard Peninsula’s most popular events. The last event, in 2019, saw a visit by the ScareTOUR website, which reviews scare attractions around Europe and said of the ‘Little Fort of Horrors’: “The creepy corridors, impressive jump scares and cleverly thought out set pieces, make this a very strong scare event”.
A Scarers Meeting is being held at Landguard Fort from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on Thursday 30 June for anyone keen to know more about becoming a volunteer scarer. There is no need to register for the Scarers Meeting. Email landguardenquiries@eastsuffolk.gov.uk for more information.
