20 June is Clean Air Day! To help raise awareness of the importance of improved air quality and the small steps we can all take to reduce air pollution, we are inviting schools from across East Suffolk to get involved.

We're looking for KS2 children to become School Air Quality Ambassadors and are holding two Air Quality Workshops:

  • Tuesday 11 June - East Suffolk House, Melton (10am-12pm)
  • Tuesday 18 June - Riverside, Lowestoft (10.30am-12.30pm)

During these workshops, children will collect and explore data on the sources of pollution in and around schools, as well as design their own Clean Air Superhero!

If your school would like to get involved, please email environment@eastsuffolk.gov.uk to secure your spot
