Rectory Lane, Worlingham

Posted by on 17 March 2023 | Comments

Update: Nearby residents are no longer required to keep their doors and windows closed.

--

Following a fire at a property in Rectory Lane, Worlingham during the early hours of this morning, we are working with Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and a specialist contractor to clear potentially hazardous material from the incident site and the surrounding area.

This work is expected to take two days and priority will be given to clearing the surrounding residential properties and the road. Once the work is complete, Rectory Lane will be reopened.

Whilst risks to the public are low, nearby residents are asked to continue to keep their doors and windows closed until further notice.

Anyone who suspects they have any debris from the fire in their garden should call 03330 162000.
