Great Bealings neighbourhood area
The Great Bealings Neighbourhood Plan was prepared by Great Bealings Parish Council following extensive consultation with the local community and sets out its vision for development to 2030.
The plan was formally ‘made’ by Suffolk Coastal District Council on 23 March 2017 [minute ref 23/03/2017(9)] and now forms part of the Local Development Plan for the district.
The council determined to make the plan on the grounds that more than 50% of people who voted in the referendum voted in favour of the council using the neighbourhood plan to help it determine planning applications in the neighbourhood plan area. The council further considers that the neighbourhood plan would not breach or be incompatible with any EU obligation or any of the Convention Rights.
A hard copy of the Made Neighbourhood Plan is available inspection at the local library and at the council's Customer Services Centre, Woodbridge Library, New Street, Woodbridge IP12 1DT during normal office hours.
