Referendum Result

The Mutford Neighbourhood Planning Referendum held on 17th October 2019 received a YES vote. The final result was as follows:

  • Votes cast - 125
  • YES votes – 102 (81.6%)
  • NO votes – 23 (18.4%)

Decision statement

The Decision Statement sets out how the Council will respond to the recommended modifications in the Examiner’s report. It concludes that the Neighbourhood Plan should proceed to referendum.

Examiner’s report

The Examiner's Report on the Mutford Neighbourhood Plan has been published. Subject to a series of recommended modifications set out in the report, the Examiner has concluded that the Mutford Neighbourhood Plan meets the basic conditions and all the necessary legal requirements and should proceed to referendum.

Habitats Regulations Assessment Screening Statement

The Habitats Regulations Assessment Screening Statement for the Mutford Neighbourhood Plan was determined in June 2019.

Submission consultation

Mutford Parish Council, in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended) submitted their neighbourhood plan to East Suffolk Council ahead of it being submitted for independent examination.

The consultation has now closed and all responses have been forwarded to the Examiner conducting the independent examination.
