The Rendlesham Neighbourhood Plan (Rendlesham Neighbourhood Plan 'made' | Appendices to accompany the 'made' Plan) was prepared by Rendlesham Parish Council following extensive consultation with the local community and sets out its vision for development to 2027.
The plan was formally ‘made’ by Suffolk Coastal District Council on 19 March 2015, [minute ref 19/03/2015(7)] and now forms part of the Local Development Plan for the district.
The council determined to make the plan on the grounds that more than 50% of people who voted in the referendum voted in favour of the council using the neighbourhood plan to help it determine planning applications in the neighbourhood plan area. The council further considers that the neighbourhood plan would not breach or be incompatible with and EU obligation or any of the Convention Rights.
A hard copy of the Made Neighbourhood Plan is available for inspection at the local library and at the council’s Customer Service Centre, Woodbridge Library, New Street, Woodbridge, IP12 1DT (during office hours).
