    Each year the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) has a legal requirement to conduct the annual canvass to ensure that the electoral register is accurate and complete.  Usually, a revised register is published on 1 December.

    The introduction of The Mobile Homes Act 2013 (The Act) provides greater protection to occupiers of residential park homes and caravans. It introduces important changes to the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960. The changes directly affect the way the council licenses permanent residential sites (known as relevant protected sites).

  • Council submits Relevant Representation to the Planning Inspectorate objecting to National Grid’s Sea Link project

    National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) submitted an application for a Development Consent Order (DCO) for the Sea Link project to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) on 27 March 2025, which was accepted for examination on 23 April 2025.
