    • Councillor Mark Newton, Chairman of Suffolk Coastal District Council, visited the Woodbridge Delivery Office to thank local postmen and women for their hard work during Royal Mail’s busiest period
    • This year Royal Mail has been celebrating its 500th anniversary, with this festive period marking half a millennium of delivering Christmas cards and parcels
    • The last recommended posting dates for Christmas are: Second Class – Tuesday 20 December, First Class- Wednesday 21 December and Special Delivery -  Thursday 22 December

    Councillor Mark Newton, Chairman of Suffolk Coastal District Council, visited the Woodbridge Delivery Office to see first-hand the operation of delivering Christmas post and to pass on season’s greetings to its hardworking staff.

    The site of the former Wessex Foods factory has been brought back to life as a new business and enterprise park for local businesses to grow and flourish as it celebrates its official opening today. With a project budget of £6.5million, the site occupies two acres of land and comprises of 17 business units of differing sizes.
