Welcome to your new East Suffolk Council website
Should you have any issues or feedback about the new site, please let us know at web@eastsuffolk.gov.uk.
Construction is now complete on The Nexus development, regenerating the industrial zone known as the Power Park in Lowestoft.

The Nexus is a high-quality scheme comprising 16 flexible units aiming to create a cluster of clean energy sector businesses enhancing the ongoing investment in the area. The development offers easy access to the Port of Lowestoft, OrbisEnergy and East Coast College’s Energy Skills Centre.
The Nexus has been constructed by SEH French to a high standard and to support the fit-out of the units East Suffolk Council are offering grant support to qualifying businesses who wish to locate on the development.
The lease of the units is being managed by Bycroft Commercial on behalf of East Suffolk Council and we are keen to speak with interested parties, particularly those who are involved in supporting the clean energy sector.

The development provides modern premises for local companies and attract businesses to Lowestoft. It incorporates a range of unit sizes, to appeal to both start-up and more established businesses. It is an exciting development opportunity for the Power Park in a town which is already attracting investment from the clean energy sector and other industries.

The Nexus is the first significant project by the council to revitalise this area and aims to drive economic growth as well as providing new employment opportunities.
The development has seen colleagues from East Suffolk Council supported by Allman Woodcock Ltd, work closely with teams from SEH French and Concertus Design & Property Consultants Limited to realise the vision for the site.
We will provide a one-off capital grant to new tenants to purchase fixtures and fittings for the new commercial units at The Nexus.
The grant scheme is funded from the Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft Enterprise Zone Fund B.
