Dog Control Public Spaces Protection Orders

Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs) are a legal means of controlling activities that cause concern in communities.

They were introduced by the Antisocial Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 and allow for the service of fixed penalties when breached.

They are reviewed every three years to ensure that they are effective and necessary in what they set out to control.
