Keeping bees

From time to time, the Environmental Protection team receive complaints about bees which are being kept at residential premises.

If you are considering keeping bees, please refer to the British Beekeepers Association website for help advice about appropriate locations for siting an apiary.

If you have an unwanted swarm, they may be able to assist with locating a local swarm collector who will visit and remove the swarm for you.
