Sea Link

Sea Link is a new proposed high voltage undersea electricity link between Suffolk and Kent being developed by National Grid Electricity Transmission.

LionLink

The LionLink Multi-Purpose Interconnector (formerly known as EuroLink) is being developed by National Grid Ventures. Interconnectors are high voltage cables which connect the electricity systems of neighbouring countries.

Strategic engagement

Many new connections and significant generation infrastructure are required to deliver net zero carbon emissions in the UK by 2050.
