Before making a request;

Check if the information is already published.

There is lots of information that the council already publishes regularly:

• Information routinely published on our Openness of information page.
• For requests received within the last three years you can check our disclosure log. Please email us to request details of a particular response, quoting the reference number.
• If you are requesting information about contaminated land, please contact our Environmental Protection Team. There may be a charge for this information (in line with our fees and charges for supplementary environmental information).
