Four schemes were given recognition for their contribution to good design and conservation at the 2011 Quality of Place awards held in the Council Chamber at Melton Hill, Woodbridge, on 15 September 2011.
The judging panel included Rachel Bodiam, a member of the East of England Branch of the Landscape Institute; Simon Cairns, director of the Suffolk Preservation Society; Alan Coombs, a member of the Felixstowe Society and chairman of the East Suffolk Preservation Trust; Simon Smeaton, a partner of Owl Architects and member of the Suffolk Association of Architects.
The panel was chaired by Councillor Veronica Falconer and the awards were presented by Council Chairman, Councillor Joan Sennington.
