We provide public conveniences in 57 locations across the districts. Many of them are located close to or in Council operated car parks, shopping areas and on major traffic routes.
Most toilets have baby changing facilities and are accessible to people with disabilities. Operating hours vary depending on location.
A limited number of conveniences have attendance during all opening hours. This is to ensure that these heavily used toilets are kept to a high standard of cleanliness throughout the day.
All other conveniences are cleaned once per day with a second clean at some busy ones during the summer period.
We no longer offer RADAR keys.
The RADAR National Key Scheme (NKS) provides special keys for registered disabled people to access locked public toilets around the UK.
They are limited and customers are advised to order keys from Disability Rights UK
In Lowestoft only, RADAR keys can be obtained from DIAL at 161 Rotterdam Road, or from Shopmobility at 15 Station Square.
Three public conveniences are accessible for those who have applied to Changing Places:
These offer additional facilities for people with disabilities and require a special key.
To apply for a key, please contact our Customer Services team or in person at our Customer Services and Tourist Information points within Felixstowe and Woodbridge.
