Community Safety Partnerships

Our Community Safety Partnerships were established to work to improve the quality of life and keep our residents, visitors and employees safe.

Anti-social behaviour

Anti-social behaviour can affect anyone at any time and can range from annoying other people to serious violence and criminal activities.

Protecting vulnerable people

We recognise the key importance of safeguarding vulnerable individuals/groups and of raising awareness of potential and actual vulnerability in East Suffolk.

Serious Violence Duty

Ensuring relevant public services work together to share data and knowledge, and allow them to target interventions to prevent and reduce serious violence.

CCTV

Vital in the prevention and detection of crime and antisocial behaviour, CCTV provides residents and businesses with protection, helping us to make East Suffolk a safer place to live, work, socialise and visit.

Terrorism

The Counter Terrorism and Security Act places a legal duty on authorities to have "due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism".
