Bank Holiday service changes

Posted by on 8 September 2022 | Comments

There will be some changes to our services from Monday 19 September, the day of the state funeral for Her Majesty The Queen.

This will be a national Bank Holiday to allow people to pay their respects and while essential public services will continue to be provided, our council offices, including our Customer Services Centre, will be closed on that day.

Our leisure centres will also close and refuse collections will be postponed for one day. This means that ALL collections, throughout next week, will be a day later than normal.

So if your normal collection day is Monday, it will move to Tuesday; Tuesday to Wednesday and so on... with next Friday's rounds now taking place on Saturday.
