The Holiday Activity and Food programme (HAF) offers a range of free holiday activities and clubs across East Suffolk.
The local programme is for children who are eligible for benefits-related school meals, vulnerable or who may have additional needs and would benefit from accessing the programme.
Christmas HAF (w/c 18th December 2023 – 2nd January 2024) – you can view the activities available on Suffolk InfoLink | Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme 2023 in Suffolk. There are different activities available so have a look on the interactive map to see which one of the 24 venues is closest to you and what activities you may be able to book onto.
Each child in the activity sessions will receive a Christmas activity booklet. Christmas food boxes will also be available in Kesgrave, Lowestoft and Woodbridge to enable families to have a Christmas dinner with easy to follow recipes. Eligible families can book these on the Equu system and then collect from a distribution centre in each of the three locations.
Please note: you can still access HAF even if you do not have the 16 digit code from your school mentioned on the website.
Our Financial Inclusion team will be at “Number 28” Community Hub in Bungay every Thursday, 10am-12pm, for free drop-in sessions.
Come along for a friendly and informal chat, advice or support on anything money related – no topic is too big or small.
You can find the team at 28 Wingfield Street, Bungay NR35 1EZ.
