Site inspections

Online building regulation site inspection request form

To book an inspection with a building control officer you can contact our building control support team team between the hours of 10:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, for a next day inspection.

Submit a building control application online

Any additional documents for new and ongoing building control applications need to be emailed to buildingcontrol@eastsuffolk.gov.uk.

Duty Planner

For basic planning advice and guidance, such as whether planning permission is required (10am-4pm weekdays).

For more complex queries you will need to submit a pre-application enquiry.

To contact the Duty Planner, we recommend using our dedicated, online Duty Planner contact form form because it will guide you through questions related to your enquiry and better help us to provide a response.

Planning enforcement
