  • Coastal monitoring by drone

    As part of the Resilient Coasts project, East Suffolk Council (ESC) has purchased a fleet of drones, including a M350 LiDAR drone, to allow increased monitoring of the ESC frontage.

    When visiting the coast you may see a ESC officer flying a drone. If so, please stay back and provide space until the drone flight is over and the pilot invites you to ask any questions.

  • Woodbridge Junction AQMA - Revoked

    To meet national air quality objectives, local authorities must regularly review and assess air quality in their areas. If a location is found where the objectives are not being achieved, the local authority must declare the area as an Air Quality Management Area (AQMA) and develop an Air Quality Action Plan to reduce air pollution.

    East Suffolk Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 32, 35 and 35A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (and all other enabling powers). The effect of the Order will be to regulate the use of and set the charges to be made in East Suffolk Council’s off-street parking places.
