ScottishPower Renewables plans to develop two further projects, in addition to East Anglia One and East Anglia Three, across the East Anglia zone. They were awarded seabed rights for the projects, as part of the Crown Estate’s Round 3 process. East Anglia One North and East Anglia Two offshore wind farms comprise of two Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.

Route D2 and B1122 study
EDF Energy has identified the B1122 as the main access route to deliver the Sizewell C development. This route will need to accommodate HGV vehicles for the delivery of materials, coach traffic for transporting workers to the site, abnormal loads and car trips by individual workers/visitors. Following the Stage 1 consultation by EDF Energy, concerns were raised around the lack of information provided for transport related mitigation for the B1122.

The Construction of Sizewell C will bring workers into the area who will be looking for accommodation in and around the surrounding areas of Sizewell. If you own your property and have a spare room, annexe, garage or property that could make safe and comfortable living space for a Sizewell C worker you may be eligible for a grant to assist towards getting the room/property up to a lettable standard.
