As part of its commitment to supporting people facing homelessness, East Suffolk Council has transformed a property in Lowestoft into specialist accommodation especially for former rough sleepers.
Think Lowestoft was launched in 2021 following a placemaking programme which looked at the perception of Lowestoft and the priorities of its businesses, stakeholders and the community, to tell the ‘story’ of Lowestoft by identifying its qualities. This involved understanding what makes Lowestoft special, competitive and different to other places.
