Suffolk Healthy Homes is a county-wide partnership, led by East Suffolk Council, aiming to reduce health inequalities through better housing. This partnership includes all of the Suffolk local authorities, Suffolk County Council, Public Health Suffolk, and both Integrated Care Boards.
Problems such as damp, mould, cold homes, high heating costs, clutter, disrepair and landlord issues can have huge effects on your health - both physical and mental. To help you tackle these problems, we can provide a wide range of free support such as: advice, income maximisation (help with benefits and grants), adaptations to improve independence and safety at home, landlord liaison (if you rent your home from a private landlord) and improving energy efficiency by retrofitting homes with the latest insulation and heating.
Suffolk Healthy Homes includes Warm Homes Healthy People, Safe Suffolk Renters and Stepping Home.
If you have COPD and have been contacted by your GP surgery or the hospital please contact us.
