Outdoor Table Tennis

East Suffolk Council, PING England and Suffolk County Council’s Most Active County Partnership have installed 8 Outdoor Table Tennis tables as part of the PING! Suffolk project for you to enjoy and over the summer holidays in Felixstowe.

The Outdoor Table Tennis tables can be located in the following places

• Allenby Park
• Cavendish Park near the Play Area
• Coronation Sports Ground within the Play Area
• Gosford Way next to the Play Area
• Great Eastern Square (for the summer only and then relocated to the Sea Front)
• Seaton Road within the Play Area
• Walton Rec near the basketball court

Over the Summer Holidays, Coaches from Xtra Time will be giving free 15 minute coaching sessions at different locations every Wednesday you can sign up to on your own or with your family and friends (a maximum of 6 people per session, no minimum or maximum age). The sessions be held between 10am – 12noon and 1pm – 3pm

At these sessions, you will be shown how to hold the bat correctly, how to serve, how to score and how to play. They are informal sessions and just there to get you started on your PING journey. By attending the session, you will be given a free Eco-Design Table tennis bat so that you can continue to enjoy playing Ping Pong.
